Tributes pour in from cricket fraternity over demise of Bilquis Edhi

The cricketing fraternity tweeted heartfelt condolences over the demise of noted philanthropist Bilquis Bano Edhi on Friday.
Former ace all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi expressed grief over the demise of Bilquis Edhi.
Taking to Twitter, Afridi penned: “Mother to so many orphans, a sister to many grieving hearts adding that she was the kindest face of humanity.
Afridi also said that “BilquisEdhi had always been shoulder to shoulder with Abdul Sattar Edhi in his philanthropic efforts & continued his mission even after him May Allah bless her with highest ranks in Jannah”.

Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan also offered his condolences and “We salute you Bilquis Edhi saheba”, adding that “Your services to humanity will forever be remembered.”
Shadab, who recently performed Umrah has said that “May Allah grant you the highest rank in heaven and may your family get sabr.”

All-rounder Shoab Malik also expressed his deep sorrow and grief on Bilquis Edhi’s demise.
Malik wrote: “An lost another gem today. #BilquisEdhi (1947-2022) (Allāh marhooma ke darjaat buland kare, Ameen)”.

Shaheen Shah Afridi also expressed his condolence over the death of Bilquis Edhi.
Shaheen wrote: “A monumental loss to Pakistan as we lose a beautiful soul. She tirelessly served the poor and needy and was one of a kind hope to many. May she rest in peace and Almighty grant her highest place in afterlife. Aameen.#BilquisEdhi”.
