Court extends Bushra Bibi’s interim bail in Nov 26 protest case
The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has extended Bushra Bibi's interim bail till May 6 in a case registered against her on November 26 protest, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
Additional Sessions Judge Chaudhry Amir Zia heard Bushra Bibi's pre-arrest bail application.
The court ordered the investigating officer to conduct an investigation including the accused Bushra Bibi.
PTI lawyers filed a petition for Bushra Bibi's exemption from attendance.
Advocate Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared in the court on behalf of Bushra Bibi, while special public prosecutors Barrister Fahad Arsalan Chaudhry, Muhammad Usman Rana Advocate, and Barrister Mansoor Azam appeared in the court.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 6.
A case has been registered against Bushra Bibi at Ramna police station on November 26 for the protest.
Meanwhile, Special Judge Central FIA Islamabad has approved the requests of the PTI founder to talk to the children and conduct a medical check-up, while the court has also directed the submission of a report on the implementation of the order on April 28.
Special Judge Central FIA Islamabad pronounced a reserved decision after the completion of the arguments in the matter of two separate applications filed by the founder of PTI in the court.

Further, the Supreme Court issued notice to the Punjab government on Senator Ijaz Chaudhry’s bail application during the hearing of cases regarding the May 9 cases.
Court adjourns hearing on Ijaz Chaudhry’s bail application till Thursday.
The Supreme Court stopped PTI leader Hafiz Farhat Abbas from being arrested till Thursday, and Hafiz Farhat Abbas’ interim bail was granted till Thursday on bonds of Rs 50,000.
