Peshawar ceremony honours martyred soldiers with solemn tributes

A solemn ceremony was held at the Peshawar Garrison to honour the sacrifices of soldiers who lost their lives in the line of duty in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The event was attended by families of the fallen, senior military officials and other dignitaries, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday. 

At the start of the ceremony, relatives of the martyrs visited the martyrs’ memorial, laid floral wreaths and offered prayers for the elevation of their ranks.

The Corps Commander, Peshawar, attended the ceremony as the chief guest and met the families individually. 

He paid tribute to their courage, patience and sacrifice, stating that the martyrs’ dedication continues to guide the nation and plays a vital role in maintaining peace and stability.

During the event, special documentary films were screened, highlighting the lives, professional commitment and bravery of the fallen soldiers.

The presentations focused on their service to the country and their deep sense of duty, which was received with respect and emotion by those in attendance.

The ceremony concluded with renewed tributes to the martyrs, as officials expressed gratitude to their families for their presence and acknowledged the enduring legacy of their sacrifices.
