US diplomat meets Fazlur Rehman to discuss regional security, legislation

Zachary Harkenrider, Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy in Pakistan, called on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence on Tuesday, where both sides held detailed discussions on key regional and global issues.

During the meeting, the two leaders exchanged views on the prevailing global situation, with particular focus on regional security and stability. Discussions also covered the ongoing US-Iran talks and their potential implications for the region.

Both sides deliberated on matters of mutual interest and reviewed various aspects of proposed legislation, reflecting continued engagement between political stakeholders and diplomatic representatives.

The meeting was attended by senior JUI-F leaders, including Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, Kamran Murtaza, Muhammad Aslam Ghori, Maulana Asad Mahmood, and Maulana Asjad Mahmood.
