Russian TV has claimed that after President Ashraf Ghani fled from Afghanistan, now the government would be transferred to the Taliban directly, reported 24News HD TV channel on Sunday.

The Russian TV also claimed that it was decided in the Kabul Talks that an interim government would be formed in Afghanistan.

And, its oath-taking ceremony was being scheduled for tomorrow on Monday, the Russian TV further claimed.

The Russian TV said that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani constituted a Coordination Council to hold negotiations with the Taliban but now had left the country without settling the matter.

So, now, the Russian TV added, the situation had been changed and the matter to the interim government had been slipped from the hands of the Afghan Council.

The Russian TV also said that now, the Taliban had taken a stance that the Afghan government should be handed over to them directly and rejected the idea of an interim government.

Due to the changed situation, the talks in Doha, Qatar had also been cancelled, the Russian TV added.
