Man grabs python that entered meat shop and later releases it safely in India

A bizarre incident in India’s Uttar Pradesh state saw an intoxicated man grab a 15-foot-long python, wrap it around his neck like a garland, and later release it safely into a drain, 24NewsHD TV reported.

The incident took place at a meat shop in Barabanki district, where the large python had entered, apparently in search of a goat to prey on.

The sight of the huge snake caused panic among shopkeepers and people in the area.

Amid the chaos, a man identified as Suresh, who was reportedly heavily intoxicated, arrived at the scene and grabbed the python without apparent fear.

The snake reportedly coiled tightly around Suresh’s arm and bit him once or twice as it tried to escape.

However, the python was non-venomous, and the man appeared unaffected by the bites.

Suresh eventually gained control of the snake and, in a bizarre display, placed it around his neck like a garland while playing with it in front of a growing crowd.

The unusual scene attracted a large number of onlookers, leaving local residents and shopkeepers stunned.

After some time, Suresh placed the python safely inside a large container. He then took it to a nearby drain and released it into the wild.
