11-year-old girl gang-raped, three accused arrested in Attock
Police in Attock arrested three persons who gang-raped an 11-year-old girl and filmed the entire episode with a threat that they would make the video clip viral, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The police came into action and made the arrests within 24 hours of registration of a case on the complaint of the victim’s father about the incident reported in the Jand area – a town located at the border of Punjab with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details mentioned in the FIR, the accused – Allah Rakha, Waris Khan and Ghulam Farid – tricked and made Sidra Bibi to visit their farm through their woman facilitator Rajia Bibi.
On her arrival, they started gang-raping her while also filming the incident. Later, they threatened the girl to remain silent and visit them again; otherwise, they would share the video clip with the people.
However, the girl showed courage and narrated the ordeal to her father who immediately approached the police.
Talking about the swift action taken by the department, Attock DPO (District Police Officer) Syed Khalid Hamdani said they had already got the medical examination conducted of the victim as well as the three accused.
