Gold registers Rs2600 per tola hike in Pakistan
Gold price registered a big jump in Pakistan as well as in global market on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
In global market, gold registered a hike of $26 dollar and settled at $4325 per ounce on investors demand.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,600 per tola and reached Rs454,862. Moreover, the price of 10 grams of gold also climbed by Rs2,229 to touch Rs389,970. The price of 10g of 22-karat gold increased by Rs2,043 to reach Rs357,485.
The uptick reflects sustained global interest in precious metals amid economic uncertainty and shifting currency trends. Silver followed a similar trajectory, with the price per tola of 24-karat silver rising by Rs68 to Rs6,532. The price of 10 grammes of 24k silver hiked by Rs59 to be sold for Rs5,600.
