Polling underway in Lahore Gymkhana Club elections

Polling process to elect 27 members of Lahore Gymkhana Club was on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Salman Siddique, Mian Misbahur Rehman panel and Dr Ali Razaq panel contesting against each other in the annual polls.

Around 5400 members of Lahore Gymkhana Club will use their right of vote to elect the members. The polling started at 9 am and will continue till 5 pm.

Salman Siddiqu and Mian Misbahur Rehman panel obtained Serial No. 1 to 12.

Other candidates of Salman Misbah panel includes, Salman Siddique, Mian Misbahur Rehman, Sarmad Nadeem, Mian  Pervez Bhandara, Sumeera Nazir Siddique, Mian Waqaruddin Vicky, Shoukat Javed, Sardar Qasim Farooq Ali, Khawaja Imran Zubair, Agha Ali Imam and Mian Azar Saleem.

Dr. Ali Razaq panel were given Serial No. 13 to 24. The panel includes Dr. Ali Raziq, Qamar Khan Boby, Syed Abid Hussain, Tahir Raza Naqvi, Asad Aziz Khan, Umar Javed Zia, Waqar Nisar Vicky, Dr. Najamuddin, Amin Taqi Butt, Mohammad Sheharyar Shami, Dr. Sarmat Malik and Agha Qasim Raza.

Three independent candidates are also contesting the elections who were allotted Serial No. 25 to Serial No. 27.

The names of independent candidates are Dr. Shahid Raza, Syed Amir Ali and Major ® Iftikhar Ali Khan.

Health condition of member Ajmal Niaz became deteriorated during polling process. He was immediately provided first-aid by Rescue department.
