Khalid Hameed wins 21st Cholistan Jeep Rally 2026

Khalid Hameed has bagged first position in the prepared category of Cholistan Jeep Rally 2026 in Bahawalpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to unofficial results Khalid Hameed covered the distance in 3 hours and 52 minutes and Hussain Asif achieved second position by covering the distance in 3 hours and 55 minutes.

Sahibzada Sultan became third as he covered the distance in 4 hours and 6 minutes. The final results from rally officials are still awaited.

SUPARCO’s ‘Pak SBAS” New Navigation System launched

 The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) unveiled its new navigation system “Pak SBAS” System in 21st Cholistan Jeep Rally.

According to SUPARCO spokesman, this system helped to detect exact location through smooth signals. Pak-SBAS demonstrates accuracy and signal stability in desert conditions.

The new technology significantly reduces the accuracy of location determination compared to conventional GNSS.

Rally drivers have exceptional confidence in accurate tracking of routes.

Pak-SBAS will be helpful in rescue and relief activities during disasters. Facilitating safe and efficient navigation in the transport and aviation sectors. Reduced positioning errors and cost reduction possible in surveying and mapping.
