Malik Liaquat appointed as AJK Inspector General of police

The federal government has appointed senior police officer Captain (r) Malik Liaquat Ali as Inspector General (IG) of Azad Kashmir Police. 

Currently serving as a DIG in the Punjab Police, Malik Liaquat will replace IG Police Rana Abdul Jabbar, who is presently attending the National Management Course. 

The Establishment Division has issued an official notification of the appointment and transfer of the IG Police Azad Kashmir Government.
