National figures back Pakistan before India clash in T20 World Cup

As anticipation builds for the high-voltage T20 World Cup clash between Pakistan and India in Colombo, prominent figures from across Pakistan have voiced strong support and optimism for the national side.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, Pakistani squash legend Jahangir Khan advised the Pakistani cricket team to play with a winning spirit and use all resources to clinch victory against India.

Hockey Olympian Salahuddin also expressed his best wishes for Pakistani cricket for their match against India.

In his message to the Pakistani team, Salahuddin said, “This is the first World Cup since the victory of Muarka Haq when the two teams will face each other.” He said that Pakistan India cricket match is the biggest match in the world. He paid glowing tributes to Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for controlling the pre-match situation in a professional manner.

Tennis player Aisamul Haq said that after winning the T20 International cricket series against Australia, Pakistan is already gained winning momentum. He expressed his sincere wishes for Pakistan’s win against India.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori said that we will defeat India not only in cricket but in every field, like on May 10, 2025, defeat. Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Farooq Sattar extended his sincere prayers for the Pakistani cricket team for their victory against India.

Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Allama Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi advised players to drop all Indian players just like Pakistan Air Force drowned Indian Rafale plane on May 10. He expressed hope that the Pakistani cricket team will become victorious against India.
