Police officer martyred in militant attack on Bajaur Police Station

Unidentified militants attacked a police station in Bajaur, resulting in the martyrdom of an Additional SHO, police officials confirmed on Saturday.

According to police, armed assailants launched an on the Tehsil Mamund Umre police station, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement authorities.

Following the attack, additional police personnel were dispatched to the scene to bolster security and assist in the ongoing operation. Police sources stated that retaliatory action is currently underway against the attackers.

Officials confirmed that the funeral prayers of martyred Additional SHO Gul Manodin will be offered tomorrow at Bajaur Police Lines.
