Govt announces no change in petroleum prices

The federal government has announced no change in the prices of petroleum products for the remaining part of this month, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Affairs Ishaq while addressing a news conference in Lahore on Sunday.

The minister maintained that the government has decided to keep the prices of petroleum products unchanged.

This is the second time this month that the government has not revised the petroleum products’ prices.

As per the previous rates, the price of diesel will remain at the existing price of Rs227.80 per litre, petrol at Rs214.80 per litre, kerosene oil at Rs171.83 per litre and light diesel oil at Rs169.00 per litre, he added.
