Many flights cancelled, delayed at Islamabad, Lahore airports

A number of flights were cancelled and delayed at Islamabad and Lahore international airports on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Two flights were cancelled while more than 10 were delayed after fog reduced runway visibility around Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.

According to flight schedule AirBlue flight PA-403 from Lahore to Karachi has been cancelled while AirBlue flight PA-404 from Karachi to Lahore was also cancelled.

Moreover, AirBlue flight PA-475 from Riyadh to Lahore delayed by six hours while AirSial flight PF-717 from Jeddah to Lahore delayed by two and a half hours.

Further, Karachi to Lahore PIA flight PK-302 delayed by one hour and forty-five minutes while Lahore to Karachi FlyJinnah flight 9P-841 delayed by three hours and Lahore to Karachi flight PK-303 delayed by one hour.

Similarly, a number of flights at Islamabad Airport were also delayed.

As per flight schedule, Emirates flight to Dubai delayed by more than two hours while FlyJinnah flight to Karachi also delayed by more than two hours.

National airline flights to Karachi and Quetta also delayed by more than an hour.

Check-in begun with delay for Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul and check-in also begun with delay for Saudi Airlines flight to Jeddah.

Saudi Airlines flight 723-Sv was scheduled to depart for Jeddah at 10:40 am.
