Parent-teacher meeting made mandatory in Punjab govt colleges

Parent-teacher meeting (PTM) has been made mandatory in government colleges in Punjab like schools for improving performance of students, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Thursday.

All college heads of Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) colleges Punjab have been directed to hold parent-teacher meetings.

PTM has been made mandatory in all public sector colleges on January 22.

Meeting will be held to review student performance and plan to further improve it.

It has been ordered to distribute certificates to position holders of December test.

Parents will be informed about the results of December test and student performance.

It has been directed principals to encourage position holders.

Photo report of PTM to be sent to DPI Colleges Office.

Directors, Deputy Directors and Focal Persons must participate in PTM.

In this regard, notification has been issued by DPI Colleges Punjab.
