Flour prices increased up to Rs6/kg

The mill owners have increased the prices of flour up to Rs6 per kilogram after blaming the alleged hike in wheat prices in the market.

The new rate of per kilogram flour has reached Rs48 in Karachi. The price of 10-kilogram flour sack hiked to Rs545 and the new rates of 10-kilogram fine flour sack set up to Rs560. The 10-kg sack of chakki flour has reached up to Rs620 after the increase of Rs6 to Rs8 per kilogram.

Despite the release of a notification for the flour price’s hike by the flour mills, the provincial government and commissioner Karachi have kept a complete silence over the issue.
