PML-F leader Nusrat Sehar Abbasi and former Sindh governor Lt Gen (retd) Moinuddin Haider contracted COVID-19 on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Nusrat Sehar said that the corona test results of her husband and daughters also came back positive. “I have contracted COVID-19 despite vaccination,” she said. She appealed for prayers from her well-wishers and urged people to follow SOPs.

Moinuddin Haider said that he remained admitted in PNS Shifa Hospital for 10 days but once again he felt sick after returning home.

“Now I am admitted to Ziauddin Clifton hospital,” he added.

Nusrat Sehar Abbasi is Sindh Assembly MPA on reserved seat for women from Pakistan Muslim League (PML-F) since 2008. Moinuddin Haider is a retired lieutenant general of the Pakistan Army, who after retirement served as the Governor of Sindh and then as the Interior Minister of Pakistan.
