PM accepts resignation of privatisation commission chairman

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accepted the resignation of Privatisation Commission Chairman Saleem Ahmed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

As per the official sources, the Establishment Division issued a formal notification regarding the acceptance of the resignation.

According to the notification, Saleem Ahmed’s resignation will be considered effective from July 1, 2022.

Saleem Ahmed took over as chairman of the Privatisation Commission on January 18 last.
