Pakistan arrests terrorist involved in attacks on US Army in Afghanistan

The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and law enforcement agencies (LEAs) arrested a hardened terrorist who is involved in various terrorist attacks from Lahore, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to the details, the arrested terrorist, who was later identified as Mohammad Saqib, was involved in terrorist attacks on an FC camp in Bajour and US Army personnel in Afghanistan.

The arrested terrorist received training from the banned terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda. The arrested terrorist is an active member of the Sajid Murtaza Group of Al-Qaeda.

Punjab police also informed the Punjab Chief Minister about the arrest of the terrorist.

The terrorist was arrested during a special operation, and legal proceedings have started against him.
