POA seeks Rs20m for participation in National Youth Games

The Punjab Olympic Association (POA) sought a grant of Rs20 million from the Punjab government for preparation and participation in the National Youth Games, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
A contingent comprising 380 athletes will take part in different sports events, including swimming, athletics, weightlifting, badminton, basketball, boxing, golf, judo, kabaddi, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, wrestling, and e-sports activities.
The Punjab Olympic Association will hold trials of different sports across the province.
The training camp of Punjab’s team will start from August 22, 2025.
It is necessary to mention here that the first National Youth Games will start from September 6 to September 13, 2025, in Islamabad.
