Most-wanted bandit killed in Faisalabad police encounter

A notorious dacoit who was wanted by the police in different criminal cases was gunned down during an encounter with the Crime Control Department (CCD) team in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The police encounter took place in Chak No.236-RB. The firing between the dacoit and CCD team continued for several hours.

Later, during the exchange of fire, the dacoit, who was later identified as Mudassar Bachi, was killed, and his other accomplices fled away from the scene.

Police said that dacoit Mudassar was involved in committing robberies in houses and shops. Mudassar injured several people during robbery.

The CCD team shifted the dead body of the dacoit to the local mortuary for autopsy and started a search operation to apprehend the accomplices of the dacoit.
