Former senator and Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Maulana Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Monday. 

In a statement issued here, Thanvi announced joining the ruling PTI and said that he would run the election campaign of PTI candidate in NA-249. Tanvi also greeted Prime Minister Imran Khan on winning the Senate elections.
