Australia declare on fourth day setting Pakistan 506-run target to win
March 15, 2022 12:06 PM
Australia Tuesday declared their second innings at 97 runs with the target of 506 runs for Pakistani batters who must have to foil all the reverse swing plan by Australia pacers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Imam-ul-Haq and Abdullah Shafique would like to atone for the first innings mistakes as Mitchell Starc has the new ball with two slips and a gully.
Imam ul Haq asked for a review after a long chat with Shafique. He played forward to one that slid on off the surface. No turn, it thumped into the pad first. No bat. Ball tracking has it hitting in line and smashing the middle of middle! He played for turn and got his pad infront of bat and with it sliding on it hit flush on the shin. Easy decision. Pakistan lose a wicket and a review.

Captain Pat Cummins resisted enforcing the follow-on after rampant quick Mitchell Starc delivered a reverse swing masterclass against a hapless Pakistan batting order to power Australia into an almost impregnable position in the second Test.
