ECP stops PM Imran from attending Swat public meeting on March 16

Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday stopped Prime Minister Imran Khan from attending the public meeting in Swat on March 16, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The commission stated in its order that the person holding public office could not visit districts, where the elections were to be held in accordance with the electoral code of conduct.

Earlier, JUI Swat had lodged a petition with the DMO against a possible visit of the premier.
