PIA cuts fares for Umrah pilgrims

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a significant decrease in the fares for the Umrah pilgrims, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to the official sources, the two-way fares for flights to Jeddah and Madinah have been set at Rs95,682.
Earlier, the fares for flights between these two destinations were above Rs100,000.
Similarly, the PIA has reduced the fares for PK-9759 Lahore to Jeddah flights and PK-9741 Islamabad to Jeddah flights.
The fares for PK-9731 flights from Karachi to Jeddah and PK-9735 flights from Peshawar to Jeddah have also been reduced by Rs5,000.
