PM Imran holds meetings with PTI MNAs, allies to thwart no-trust move

As the date for the National Assembly (NA) session at which the no-trust motion against the PTI government is to be tabled is approaching and the political temperature is also rising, Prime Minister Imran Khan, just like the opposition parties, is busy holding meetings not only with the members of the ruling party but also with those of the allied parties, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
On Tuesday, the prime minister met with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Sindh Governor Imran Ismael, federal ministers and PTI legislators from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and discussed with them prevailing political situation of the country.
In his meeting with CM Buzdar, PM Imran discussed with him the political situation of Punjab, especially the politics of Jahangir Khan Tareen (JKT) group and its likely impact on the no-confidence motion going to be tabled in two weeks from now.
Buzdar briefed him about his recent meetings with the members of the Punjab Assembly (MPAs).
Federal ministers Asad Umer, Shafqat Mehmood, Khusro Bakhtiar, Ali Amin Gandapur and Fehmida Mirza also called on the prime minister.
Fehmida conveyed to the premier the concerns of Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), a coalition partner of PTI in the federal government.
