FIA asks PTI's Marwat to prove a claim against Punjab CM for plotting his murder

Reacting to the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) notice issued to him in connection with his serious allegations against Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, PTI’s firebrand leader and MNA Sher Afzal Marwat said on Friday he would appear before the FIA team on March 18 and give all proofs in support of his claims against the chief minister, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said he would see to it whether the Agency had the courage to arrest Maryam.
Earlier, the FIA had issued a notice to Marwat in which he had been asked to appear before its team on March 18 and give proof to substantiate his claim that the CM had plotted his murder.
A few days ago, the PTI leader, while addressing a press conference outside the Parliament House, Islamabad, had accused the chief minister of plotting his murder.
Speaking to the media, Marwat alleged that money for his murder to shooters had been paid in advance.
He said that one of his colleagues, also an MNA, had collected some evidence and shared with him and other party leaders.
He said that he was ready to share the material with the FIA, if summoned.
Marwat further said that he had discussed the situation with Opposition Leader Omar Ayub at night.
