Fire breaks out in Moon Market Lahore; 12 shops burn to ashes

A blaze erupted in Faisal Plaza located in Moon Market, Lahore, causing damage to 12 shops on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, a family trapped on the upper floor of the plaza was safely evacuated.
The rescue officials told the media that the fire broke out in a clothing shop in Faisal Plaza due to a short circuit, engulfing adjacent shops as well.
As per the initial assessment, 12 shops in the plaza were affected by the fire, including gift shops, garments, clothes and artificial jewelry.
The rescue team said five members of a residential family residing on the upper floor were safely rescued and provided medical assistance.
Traders expressed concern over significant losses to their businesses due to the fire, especially on the eve of Eid.
