Sanam Jung took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of celebrating first Ramadan away from home in Pakistan with her daughter, Alaya, in Houston.
The actress penned her heartfelt experience and feelings in the caption of the post.
It's encouraging to see the lady creating special Ramadan memories with Alaya.
Sanam found herself shouldering the responsibility of heading the family. Traditionally, Iftar gatherings in Pakistan would take place at her mother's or mother-in-law's house.
At first, when faced with preparing Iftar for the first time, she initially thought of keeping it simple without pakoras, fruit chat, or Sharbat, especially since her husband was away due to work.
However, she didn't want her daughter, Alaya, to miss out on the cherished moments of the Iftar table, the family coming together, and the tradition of breaking the fast collectively

Putting in some effort, she managed to create a lovely experience for just the two of them, featuring a spread that included fruit chat, Khattay Aloo, Alaya's favorite Aloo ka pakora, Chicken Biryani, and Ramzan juice, all lovingly prepared by her.
The efforts she puts into all these things truly show her dedication.
At the end of the video, her daughter's double thumbs-up must have been the best reward, making the experience all the more special.
Fans lauded the star for her efforts, resonating with her experience of living apart from family and encountering similar feelings of solitude and longing for loved ones.
