Comedian Zakir Khan’s health sparks concern after hospital appearance
Fans expressed concern for popular stand-up comedian Zakir Khan after he appeared in hospital robes in his brother Arbaaz Khan’s latest vlog.
In the recently released “Ramzan vlog,” Arbaaz Khan shared snippets from Zakir’s private room at Lilavati Hospital. The comedian was seen wearing a pink hospital robe while watching the India vs England Cricket World Cup match alongside friends and family.
When Arbaaz asked how he was feeling, Zakir replied humorously, “Match abhi fasa hua hai (The match is in a critical spot right now),” keeping his trademark wit even in the hospital.
Fans quickly reacted on social media, posting messages such as, “Kia hua Zakir Khan ko? (What happened to Zakir Khan?),” “Aap thik ho? Get well soon before Eid!” and pleading with Arbaaz for updates on the comedian’s condition.
This appearance comes after Zakir had announced an extended break from comedy during his live show in Hyderabad as part of the Papa Yaar tour. He revealed that the hiatus could last several years, potentially until 2028–2030, in order to prioritize his health and personal life.
“It will be a break of three, four, or five years to take care of my health and to sort out a few other things. Everyone present here tonight is very close to my heart. Your presence means more to me than you can imagine, and I will always be grateful to all of you,” Zakir said during the show.
He also mentioned on Instagram that all scheduled shows until June 20 will go on as planned, marking a celebration with fans before his hiatus.
Fans continue to send Zakir messages of love, support, and wishes for a speedy recovery, showing the comedian’s enduring popularity and connection with his audience.
