Mahieka Sharma claps back at trolls after PDA with Hardik Pandya, saying ‘Never Settle’

Indian model and actress Mahieka Sharma is brushing off social media criticism after sharing a public display of affection with cricketer Hardik Pandya during India’s T20 World Cup 2026 victory, responding to trolls with a bold message: “Never settle.”

Mahieka appeared unfazed by the trolling following India’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup triumph over New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, on March 8. Videos showing her hugging and planting a kiss on Hardik went viral, sparking mixed reactions online.

While Hardik stayed silent amid the backlash, Mahieka addressed the criticism on Instagram Stories on March 13. Sharing a meme that read, “Jaa tu, Mahieka jitna luck mere zindagi mein aana (Go, hope my luck is also like Mahieka),” she added, “Never settle,” sending a message to women to know their worth.

During the victory celebrations, Mahieka joined Hardik on the field, hugged him, and shared a peck on his cheek. The couple was later seen strolling hand-in-hand, celebrating the historic win together.

The celebrations also landed Hardik in legal trouble after a Pune-based advocate filed a complaint alleging disrespect to the Indian national flag. Videos showed Hardik dancing across the field with the Tricolour draped over his shoulders and lying on the stage with Mahieka, which the complainant claimed was disrespectful.

Hardik, who began dating 25-year-old Mahieka in 2025, made their relationship official earlier this year with a heartfelt birthday post. Throughout the World Cup, Mahieka has been seen accompanying him to matches, supporting him on and off the field.
