In a fresh tirade against former premier Imran Khan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz called the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairpersons liar, swindler, cheater, and a power-hungry person.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, she was addressing a public rally in the Gujrat district of Punjab on Sunday.

At the onset of her address, the PML-N vice president labeled Abid Raza as the ‘lion of Gujrat’ and convoyed the salam of Nawaz sharif to the local supporters including the women.

She paid tribute to the supporters of Gujrat for braving the scorching heat to show up at the PML-N show. She paid a salute to the people of Gujrat for upholding the tradition of paying such a warm welcome to the PML-N leadership.

She called for two-minute silence for Imran Khan‘s bid to sell Kashmir. She said she does not want to say his name but as being a daughter of this soil she is bound to protect the motherland from this cruel person (Imran Khan), resembling him as a child who has been unprepared for the exam and went for cynical tricks in front of the parents to evade exams.

She said Imran Khan talked about a fake threat letter first, then spoke of an international conspiracy, and now claiming his life is in danger just to gain public sympathy. She said Imran went for such pretexts whenever the people question his four-year performance report card.

As, according to her, his performance is zero, that’s why he went for such tricks. She asked Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah to get the video Imran khan talking about so that Imran could be provided with security.

“We pray Imran Khan may live so that he could see the achievements of PML-N Nawaz Sharif, she said and listed the atrocities Nawaz Sharif faced during jail life during Imran Khan’s rule.

Nawaz Sharif is the person who bore abuses hurled by premier Imran Khan, she recalled, adding that in 2013, Nawaz Sharif went to inquire after Imran Khan when the former fell before a public address.

Nawaz Sharif was the person who provided Imran Khan with all-out security and he never talks about such a plot at that time.

Imran Khan has been ousted by his own lawmakers, she stressed and raised the question of why his supporters turned hostile.

She said this power-hungry person must make his claim public and stopped telling lies to innocent persons. She slammed the former prime minister for being a brutal ruler against Nawaz Sharif when he was put behind bars for faked cases.

"First he said the threat letter arrived on March 7, and now he is saying that he had known about the conspiracy since last year," Maryam commented.

In her previous address, Maryam shed light on the alleged corruption charges against former first lady Bushra Bibi's friend Farah Khan and said that the PTI's so-called independence march is actually a "save Gogi" march.

"Farah Gogi's corruption trails lead to Bani Gala. It's unfortunate that Imran Khan never publically tried saving his sister Aleema Khan when there were allegations hurled against her, but he came to Gogi's rescue while speaking on national TV," she said.

She said in the past four years, out of a population of 220 million people, it was only Gogi whose wealth continued to increase. "Why did Farah Khan escape to Dubai overnight?" she questioned. "Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that Farah will be found and brought back wherever she is."

She went on to say that it was "Gogi, Pinky, and Kaptaan," who looted the country's wealth, adding that Imran Khan minted billions of rupees through the foreign funding case. The PML-N vice president also shed light on the Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH) incident and said that it was an act of "shame" that Imran Khan "had sent people to the holy place to chant slogans against the PML-N leadership."

She said that due to the incident, many poor people working in Saudi Arabia were arrested only because they listened to what their leader was demanding.
