Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has declared illegal police action against Assembly secretariat staff, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
The Punjab Assembly speaker condemned the police action, saying: The “baby rulers" should refrain from such acts.
Do not take such actions against assembly officers and staff, he warned, adding that the vengeful acts of the Sharifs (Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz Sharif) are being exposed. The people have forgot such a face of Sharifs, he stressed.
According to the Punjab Assembly spokesman, a heavy contingent of police was deployed outside the house of Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan and action against Grade 17 Officer Shahbaz Ahmed, two junior security assistants Ali Zeeshan and Ghulam Murtaza is condemnable, he added.
