Fazl says Modi attacked Pakistan at Israel's behest

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) President Maulana Fazlur Reman said on Thursday that Israel attacked Pakistan in collaboration with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a Defence of Pakistan and Palestine Solidarity Conference in Quetta, Fazl said that Palestinians have proved that they sacrifice their lives, but they cannot be made to surrender. He said that Israel has been an enemy of Pakistan since day one. He said that connivance between Zionists and Hindus has been a historical reality.

Addressing Modi, Fazl warned him that he would regret if he ever tried to show his might to Pakistan again. He said that Modi could not go the Indian parliament due to the embarrassment he faced after defeat in the war against Pakistan. He said that Modi supported Israel at the time of the Israeli invasion of Gaza.

He said that he wanted to assure the people of Gaza that they were not alone; people of Pakistan stand shoulder-to-shoulder with them. He asked the Arab rulers to come back to their senses and play their role in resolution of the Palestine issue. He said the Muslim world had the power to destroy Israel.

Referring to Modi’s announcement about the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan, Fazl said the World Bank was a guarantor in this agreement and it could not be dissolved unilaterally. He said that Modi tried to resolve disputes by force, but Pakistan replied with full force and settled the score.
