'You are the pride of my life': Zahid Ahmed pens a heartwarming note for his wife
Pakistani actor Zahid Ahmed is receiving love and praise on social media after being honored with the prestigious Pride of Performance award by the President of Pakistan.
From television screens to one of the country’s highest civil honors, Zahid Ahmed’s latest achievement has become a proud moment for the entertainment industry.
Soon after receiving the award, the actor took to Instagram and shared heartfelt posts celebrating the milestone with his family.
In one emotional post, Zahid shared a picture with his wife and credited her for standing beside him throughout his journey.
Calling her “the pride of my life,” the actor revealed that no award could ever fully describe how much he owes her for the sacrifices she made for him and their family.

While reflecting on the honor, Zahid wrote that he had spent a long time thinking about why Allah blessed him with such a huge recognition at this stage of his career. According to the actor, hard work matters, but what matters most is how a person treats those closest to them.
Zahid shared that his wife left behind her career, family, and hometown 14 years ago so he could follow his dream of doing theatre in Karachi, which later turned into a successful television career.
He explained that while he spent years working long hours, shooting projects, and spending most of his time away from home for work, his wife stayed home managing every responsibility and raising their children with love and care.

In his emotional message, the actor urged men to value their wives, recognize their sacrifices, and spend quality time with their families instead of giving all their energy to work and strangers outside the home.
He wrote that this award belongs to his wife as much as it belongs to him and admitted that he may never truly be able to express how much he loves and appreciates her.
“This Pride of Performance is for you, the pride of my life,” Zahid wrote at the end of his emotional note, with fans calling the post heartfelt and beautiful.
In another post, Zahid expressed gratitude while sharing a video from the award ceremony where he could be seen receiving the Pride of Performance honor.
He said he felt honored, humbled, and thankful beyond words for receiving such a prestigious recognition.
The actor added that receiving the award at this point in his career has motivated him to work even harder and continue serving his country in the best possible way.
