Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has alleged that the coalition government has ‘murdered’ Pakistan’s economy in the last seven months, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing long march participants of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday, former prime minister Imran Khan said during the government of PTI till April, the risk of returning the loan from Pakistan’s banks was 5 percent, now it had increased to 64.5 percent.

“This means that our economy has been murdered and the nation should understand what has happened to them,” he said adding that “the world is understanding that Pakistan’s economy is weak and it will not be able to repay its loans”. He added that foreign investors are always reluctant to invest in a weak economy.

Imran further alleged that Sharif and Zardari’s families have increased our loans by four times. “If we default, the rupee will depreciate further because dollars won’t come in and people won’t invest,” the former premier said.

Former premier Imran Khan that he had warned the “handlers” six months back that the conspiracy to bring imported government into power will cause losses to the national economy. But they paid a deaf ear to my advice, he said added that who is responsible for the economic crisis in Pakistan today.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan stated that the only solution to the economic crisis in the country was free and fair elections.

Addressing the Chief Justice of Pakistan, he said that the whole nation was looking to the apex court for justice in three famed cases, Arshad Sharif’s killing, the Wazirabad shooting case, and PTI senator Azam Swati’s custodial torture.

Criticizing the Chief Election Commissioner of Pakistan, Imran Khan said

Sikandar Sultan Raja was working on an agenda against the PTI as he had trapped PTI in two cases — foreign funding and the Toshakhana reference. “Chief Election Commissioner has a strong tilt towards PML-N and the handlers. He took eight decisions against PTI and all of them were rejected by the judiciary,” he added.

He said true democracy and stability can only be achieved if rule of law is established.

PTI chief Imran Khan said that the country has been witnessing the highest inflation in 50 years due to the incompetent government.

During the PTI regime, the inflation rate was sixteen percent, now it has reached 28 percent, he added.

Imran Khan further said the PTI government had set an export target of $26 billion, but we succeeded in exporting worth of $32 billion goods.

Similarly, we set a 6.6 percent target in industry and achieved 9.8 percent, he added.

However, during Imran Khan's speech, the venue started emptying as the people began leaving the venue.

Imran Khan said when Nawaz Sharif was the Prime Minister, he went on private visits to London twenty-three times at the cost of poor nation.

Likewise, Zardari went to Dubai fifty times on a private visit. They went abroad for looking after their wealth and making business deals.

Pakistan's problems are due to lack of justice and prosperity cannot come in the law of the jungle, he hinted.
