PTI workers display arms, do aerial firing in Faisalabad 

PTI workers violated the law and displayed arms during the electioneering rally in Faisalabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.

The participants in the rally fired shots in the air on Eidgah Road in the constituency of NA 108.

An armed group of PTI workers exchanged words with the PML-N supporters in Batala Colony police limits.

However, the police have not taken action against anyone.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has imposed a ban on the display of weapons under its code of conduct.

By-elections will be held on Oct 16 in the constituencies including NA-157 Multan IV, NA-22 Mardan III, NA-24 Charsadda II, NA-31 Peshawar V, NA-108 Faisalabad VIII, NA-118 Nankana Sahib II, NA-237 Malir II, NA-239 Korangi, PP-139 Sheikhupura, PP-241 Bahawalnagar V, and PP-209 Khanewal VII.
