Yasir Hussain reveals sequel of Javed Iqbal in 2023

The untold story of a serial killer that has been shown in a movie by Javed Iqbal and now in Sequel was banned in Pakistan and has not been yet released is now ready to release.

Yasir Hussain the talented actor of Pakistani showbiz industry taking to his Instagram handle on Thursday shared a poster for Javed Iqbal 2 and announced that the movie has been appreciated internationally and is now gearing up for a sequel.

“Forget one, wait for this one.” He added that the “full story” is “coming soon”, he captioned the post.

The lead actor Yasir Hussain in the movie Sequel has affirmed that it is slated to be released in 2023.

Further, Yasir Hussain said to his fans and followers that just wait for the movie because in this part you guys will see the full fledge story of the movie.

On the other hand, regarding this sequel, Abu Aliha the director of the first film told that “We are creating it for an international OTT platform. Everything has been decided, we are not disclosing anything. Yasir Hussain will play the lead character. This film will premiere at international festivals next year and then will be available to stream on the OTT. We will not even go near Pakistani cinema or the offices of the censor board this time, we have understood their blackmailing tactics.”

He further confirmed about the sequel that the sequel will have more violence and gory scenes than the first film, while the budget of the new film will also be doubled that of the first film and it will be a better film than the previous one. “My book Javed Iqbal 2 is also available in the market so now we are turning it into a film. It will be shot in Lahore, its cast, production design and budget will be bigger than the first film. The canvas of the story, this time, is very broad that the fans will see in 2023.

It should be noted that 'Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer' was to be released in Pakistan in January this year, but it was banned two days before its release. The said film was initially released in Punjab. The government imposed a ban, after which the film's team postponed its release.

The story of the movie has been based on the crimes of Lahore's notorious serial killer 'Javed Iqbal Mughal' and his legal trial. Javed Iqbal Mughal was guilty of killing and raping 100 children.
