300 illegal houses, shops demolished in Afghan colony in Karachi

More than 300 illegal houses and shops have been demolished during the operation in Afghan colony on the Northern Bypass in Karachi on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

DIG West Irfan Baloch said amid resistance the police operation was completed which will continue. He said the operation will resume tomorrow morning which will continue for a few days. 

Police personnel will be deployed 24 hours a day in Afghan colony. DIG West said no one will be allowed to occupy government land.
