A man allegedly killed her 23-year-old wife named Saba in Maripur Muslim Colony of Karachi and fled away from the crime scene taking his minor baby-girl with him, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police, the body of the deceased has been shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi. The victim has a seven-month-old daughter, who is now with his father, the TV channel reported.

Saba came to his father’s home after a fight with her husband, Sikandar. Saba’s father approached the local police and informed them that his daughter was strangled to death by her husband. He also alleged that Sikandar murdered his daughter with the help of his friend.

Both Sikandar and Saba have happily married four years ago after falling in love.

Separately in Lahore, a man killed his 40-year-old wife named Tahira over a domestic dispute in Baghbanpura area. Accused Imran murdered his wife by hitting her hard on the head with a heavy object, the TV channel reported.

Police said the dead body has been shifted to a morgue. Police said the accused was a drug addict who had an argument with his wife and later murdered her.
