Floods claim another 22 lives in 24 hours: NDMA
10 women, six children among dead

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has reported another 22 deaths due to floods across the country.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the report said 13 people died in Balochistan and one in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while 8 people lost their lives in Sindh during the last 24 hours.
Ten women and six children were among the dead, the authority said, adding that the toll reached 1,508 across the county.
So 646 deaths have been reported in Sindh, 306 in KP, 294 in Balochistan, 191 in Punjab, 48 in Azad Kashmir and 22 in Gilgit-Baltistan, the report stated.
The calamity claimed the lives of 308 women and 536 children and 12 thousand 756 people sustained injuries.
In the last twenty-four hours, more than 36,000 houses were damaged across the country.
The total number of partially damaged houses across the country is more than 1.2 million and 581, 521 were completely destroyed while 12,718 km of roads were damaged.
A total of 927,543 cattle were lost, the NDMA reported, adding that 81 districts were affected while there is still a moderate level of flood at Kotri in the Indus River.
