Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan once again warned the power circles that he will give a 'call to the nation' if pushing them back continued.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Imran Khan addressed the nation live on media on Thursday evening and urged the power circles to announce general elections as a last solution to the existing political crisis.
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan said the country couldn’t become stable of the government’s fascist tactics of making cases against his party leaders and media.
The PTI chairman also warned the people of Pakistan that they should be ready for more inflation and an increase in petrol and electricity prices as the IMF has already stated in its report.
Imran Khan told the nation the risk rating of Pakistan reached 22 per cent which was only 5 per cent in his regime before the foreign conspiracy.
He said Pakistan needs 30 billion dollars to pay back the loans and interests this year which is a tough target for the sitting government as it will get $8 billion only from different corners to return the loans.
Criticizing the high inflation in the country, Imran said that around 20 per cent textile industry is closed while 35 per cent of cement production has been reduced and consumption of petrol is also decreased by 22 per cent.
He said due to uncontrollable inflation and poor governance and financial policies, the IMF has also said in its recent report that Pakistan is leading toward Sri Lanka's situation in the country.
