Lt General Nigar Johar, Surgeon General Pakistan Army on Thursday visited the flood-hit areas of Sindh and Balochistan provinces and instructed doctors to vaccinate people infected with cholera and typhoid.

Surgeon General Nigar Johar visited various field medical campuses in Sindh at Dadu, Chur, Badin and Hyderabad districts and met the army paramedics and doctors.

She said that the availability of food should be ensured to children and especially infants and pregnant women as newborn babies and women have been severely affected by the floods. 

Surgeon General said all possible food and medical facilities should be provided to children and women as well as the availability of lady health workers should also be ensured.
