The establishment division has notified the appointment of Passand Khan Buledi (BPS-20) as new chairman of the Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) for a term of two years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Gwadar Port Authority falls under the Maritime Ministry.

Passand Khan Buledi belongs to Balochistan Civil Service who joined the service in 1997. Previously he served as Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission.

He has also served as deputy commissioner in various districts of Balochistan and other important positions in the province.

He had also served as Secretary Energy, Secretary Industries, Secretary Labour, Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination and Commissioner Afghan Refugees and Provincial Census Commissioner.
