The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has released the schedule for the 2025-26 Hockey Pro League, which will begin on December 9 and run until June 28, 2026, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

The seventh edition of the elite tournament will span ten nations and feature 144 matches, promising one of the most competitive seasons yet.

The opening fixtures will be hosted by Ireland and Argentina, with two debutant teams, Ireland’s women and Pakistan’s men, entering the competition after earning promotion through the 2024-25 Nations Cup.

According to the schedule, Pakistan will begin their campaign in Argentina, where they are set to face the hosts and the Netherlands in their opening round of fixtures.

From February 10 to 15, the national team will move to Australia, where they will lock horns with the home side and Germany.

The third phase of Pakistan’s campaign will take place in Belgium from June 13 to 21, with matches lined up against Spain and Belgium.

The final round of the league is scheduled in England from June 23 to 28, where Pakistan will play their most eagerly anticipated match of the season against arch-rivals India, along with another major contest against England.

The prospect of a Pakistan–India showdown in England has already created a buzz, making the 2025-26 Pro League one of the most awaited editions in recent memory.

The opening day will see Germany face Belgium in the men’s event in Ireland, while defending champions Netherlands will take on Pakistan in Argentina.

In women’s matches, Ireland will host Belgium and England, whereas Argentina will stage games featuring the Leonas, Germany, and the Netherlands.

With both the Netherlands men and women beginning their title defenses, fans can expect strong challenges from rivals eager to disrupt their dominance.

The Pro League carries added significance as it serves as a direct qualification pathway to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.

The season will conclude dramatically on June 28, 2026, across Belgium, Germany, and England, with six men’s and six women’s teams taking the field on the final day.

Throughout the season, matches will be staged in Ireland, Argentina, China, Spain, Australia, India, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

The complete match schedule will be published on September 17 on the official FIH Pro League website.

With world-class teams, Olympic stakes, and the thrill of a Pakistan–India showdown, the 2025-26 Pro League is set to capture the imagination of hockey fans worldwide.
