Head of committee looking into harassment charges against IHC judges removed

Shortly after a committee was formed to look into the allegations of harassment against the Islamabad High Court (IHC) judges, committee head Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz was removed and Justice Inam Amin Minhas was appointed new head of the committee.

The notification of Justice Saman’s removal was issued with the approval of Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfaraz Dogar, sources said.

The earlier circular notifying the committee was suspended because it was issued by Justice Saman.

Justice Saman had notified Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan and Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir as members of the committee.
