PM’s Special Petrol Relief Scheme formally launched in Islamabad

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s Special Petrol Relief Scheme formally kicked off in Islamabad on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Under the scheme, motorcyclists, rickshaw as well as chingchi drivers will be provided Rs100 per liter of relief. 

Owners of cars of up to 800 cc will also be provided the same relief. 

The IT Ministry asked citizens to write RIG and their computerized national identity card numbers and send these to 9771. 

Car’s number, provincial code and the date of registration will also have to be mentioned in the message. 

For the purpose of fuel token, the ministry asked citizens to write TOK and send it to 9771.

The relief will take effect in other cities as well as in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from tonight.
