CCD ex-official emerges as suspect in actress Hina Sheikh firing case
A former Crime Control Department (CCD) official has emerged as the prime suspect in a firing incident targeting the vehicle of stage actress Hina Sheikh at a hotel parking area.
According to police, suspect Ashar Jutt, along with his accomplice Joji allegedly opened fire at the actress’s vehicle at the behest of fellow stage actress Silk.
Police said Ashar Jutt was previously associated with the CCD Faisalabad and had also served as its Public Relations Officer (PRO).
According to police, raids are being conducted to arrest Ashar Jutt while both Ashar Jutt and his accomplice Joji have been nominated in the case.
Hina Sheikh had previously nominated fellow actress Silk in the case following the firing incident at her vehicle. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
