Senior officers in Punjab Police transferred, posted

Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Dr Usman Anwar has ordered posting and transfer of 24 police officers across the province, including key positions in Lahore and Faisalabad, as part of an administrative reshuffle aimed at improving operational efficiency.

According to the notification, Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem has been posted Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Lahore. Nasir Mehmood Bajwa has been appointed Additional Inspector General (AIG) Welfare Punjab, Lahore.

In Faisalabad, Saleem Abbas Kolachi has been posted SSP Investigations. Meanwhile, Bilal Ahmed Khan has been transferred and posted Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) VVIP Security One, Lahore.

The reshuffle also includes the posting of Muhammad Asghar Khan as DSP Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP), Lahore, while Abdul Ghafoor has been appointed DSP Security, 90 Highway.

Officials said the transfers and postings are effective immediately.
